The author of The Psychology of Self-Defense, Chris Sutton's' extensive law enforcement experience dealing with real street criminals has instilled in him highly unique insights into the reality of self-defense.

A dedicated martial arts school owner, Chris has earned multiple black belts in different martial arts.

After many years in the Asian arts Chris earned a black belt under World Champion Kick Boxer Jim Graden, with further influence from the legendary champion Joe Lewis.

Chris has used this expertise to create the acclaimed C.O.B.R.A.™ reality-based self-defense system, as well as influencing his other martial arts programs, fitness programs & books.
